Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What's your cancellation policy?
Passenger cancellations with 48 hours or more notice will receive a full refund. If a cancellation is within 48 hours, the passenger will receive a credit to rebook. Contact us by phone at 772-361-2968 to cancel. No-shows will be charged the full price with no option for a refund or credit.
What about weather cancellations?
Welcome to Florida! Our captains are US Coast Guard master licensed, and experienced on these waters. Your enjoyment and safety is our priority. We continually check tides, winds and other conditions that could affect your trip.
In the event we need to cancel a cruise due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we'll reach out about two hours before with the options: rebook right away, receive a credit to rebook at a later date, or receive a full refund.
We will always make our decision to cancel on the side of caution. We never want to put our passengers or our crew in harm's way, so a trip may be cancelled even though the weather eventually clears up.
What's a private cruise? Can't you mix groups; there's only a couple of us?
A private cruise is just that - you and your chosen passengers are the only ones on the cruise (besides the crew!) So, if you are a family of 4 and you book a private Sandbar Cruise or a Sunset Cruise, you'll be the only passengers aboard.
We've just added Stuart Public River Sunset Cruises to accommodate our passengers' requests. The fare is $40 per person for the 1.5 hour cruise.
Check out our new collaboration with the Florida Parks Department - the St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park Public Cruise - it's 1.5 hour sightseeing cruise, combined with a 1.5 hour ranger-guided hiking tour of the preserve!
Reservations are required for all cruises. Our live booking calendar is on the right side of this page.
Do you charge for infants or toddlers?
The Coast Guard limits us to our vessel capacity so everyone on board counts towards that limit, regardless of the passenger age. Please don't ask us to put our business in jeopardy by bringing more than the boat's maximum capacity of passengers.
Does the fare include a gratuity for the crew?
Fares don't include a gratuity for the crew. Your crew works hard to make sure that your cruise is special! If you'd like to your crew know that by tipping, it's always appreciated!
Can I bring "adult beverages"
Yes, you can! Feel free to bring any food and drinks you'd like. One caveat: please refrain from bringing glass containers. Aluminum cans, paper or refillable containers are a better choice. We provide ice and bottled water.
Can I bring a small pet?
Yes, well behaved pets are welcome on private cruises only. Owners are fully responsible for any damage done by the pet to the boat or the crew.
Is there a restroom on board?
The River Walk, Shepard Park and Sandsprit Park all have public restrooms nearby, which you are able to use prior to departure. We can always make a quick run to a restroom if there's an emergency. Our larger vessel does have a restroom.
We want music - can we bring our own?
For private cruises, yes! We have a Bluetooth stereo system and cool playlists. If you'd rather bring your own playlist, feel free! We'll cruise to your tunes! For public cruises, we have a "beachy" playlist.
What's the difference between a pontoon boat and a regular boat?
Pontoon boats handle waves much more gently than vee hulls and are great for cruising. Instead of a jarring motion moving through a wave trough, pontoons gently glide. Pontoons can run in as little as 18 inches of water, so they can travel in shallow areas a vee hull would not be able to reach. Both of our pontoons boats are seriously comfy!
